Happy New Year's everyone and greetings from Pasadena! Did you know that one million people line up in Pasadena to view the Rose Bowl Parade and another 40million watch on TV. Didn't get my Tennessee pick in time. I like Florida (-11) over Michigan. Tough call because Michigan will have it's three headed monster healthy having not played for almost 6 weeks. But we remember how much trouble the Wolverines have with the spread offense. Think App St. and Oregon. Missouri (-4) over Arkansas. The Hogs really aren't sure who's coaching this game. Texas Tech (-6) over Virginia. USC (-14) will dominate Illinois in the Rose Bowl.
The Illini are making their 5th ever trip to the Granddaddy of 'em All. Illinois has won 3 out 4 trips here. The Trojans are full strength and maybe the best team in the country. Look for John David Booty to have a huge game. I know, I've picked all favorites. Tonight's Sugar Bowl, I like Hawaii (+8 1/2)to hang close with Georgia.
