MLB Playoff Predictions

MLB Playoffs

AL

Yankees over Indians
Yankees get revenge from last year’s first round loss to Cleveland.

Tigers over Angels
Tigers have no problem sweeping the Angels.

ALCS
Yankees hold off the Tigers in a classic seven game series.

NL

Mets over the Braves
Mets hold off the Braves in 5 games

Diamondbacks over Cubs
Chicago can’t hit Arizona’a pitching.

NLCS

Mets over Diamondbacks
Probably go 7 games. If Pedro’s healthy, hard to beat Santana and Martinez in a 7
game series.

World Series

Yankees over Mets
What! A Subway Series? That’s where we’re headed. The Yankees finally get
that elusive 27th title.

So No Rays?

This is retarded. Whoever wrote this DOESN'T know the rules of Baseball.

TWO TEAMS FROM THE SAME DIVISION CANNOT PLAY ONE ANOTHER IN THE FIRST ROUND OF THE PLAYOFFS.

If you have the Braves as a Wildcard and the Mets as a NL east Champions, it doesn't matter if the Mets had the best NL record and Braves the weakest, they CANNOT play one another. The Mets would play whoever has the weakest record between the Cubs or Diamondbacks and the Braves would play the other.

That's the first thing- whoever made this was STUPID.

Second, no Rays? No Boston? No Phillies? You picked the BRAVES but not the Brewers, Dodgers or Phils? That's a terrible pick.

Picking the Tigers preseason is understandable with the pickups they made but thinking Cleavland would make it back to the postseason is another STUPID, STUPID pick. I'm assuming they are your Wildcard pick? You don't think that Tampa, Boston, Chicago, or the Twins would have been stronger picks?

These are picks that are terribly informed, ACTUALLY impossible matchups and just the dumbest piece of baseball writing I've seen in sometime....the worst part is you pass this off as educated.
