Thanks For The Memories P. Dubb

Pat White will go down as the one of the best athletes ever at West Virginia. White single handily beat the North Carolina Tar Heels in the 2008 Meineke Bowl, completing a stellar career at Morgantown.

White was flashy and electric with speed that killed. He was almost too quick to control on NCAA Football for Playstation.

Pat White finishes his career with the most rushing yards ever by a NCAA Quarterback accumulating 4480 career rushing yards.

Most career rushing yards for a NCAA Quarterback:
1. Pat White-West Virginia (2005-08)-4480
2. Brad Smith-Missouri (2002-05)-4289
3. Antwaan Randle El-Indiana (1998-2001)-3895

Oh, if you haven't heard by now, White also is the only player in the history of College Football to start and win 4 bowl games at quarterback!

White's bowl victories:
2006 Sugar Bowl-Georgia
2007 Gator Bowl-Georgia Tech
2008 Fiesta Bowl-Oklahoma
2008 Meineke Bowl-North Carolina

Overall as a starting quarterback at West Virginia, White was 32-8.

With the continuing success and popularity of the "WildCat"/Single Wing formation in the NFL, White seems like a lethal weapon in future Sundays.

White may not have ever played in a National Title Game (although he had a golden opportunity in 2007), but he erased "the Man formerly known as" Major Harris from the mind of college football fans everywhere.

He is probably the best WV player ever and I bet WV does not win 5 games next season.
