Last Wednesday (12/10) Carmelo Anthony tied a NBA record by scoring 33 points in one quarter! In Denver's 116-105 win over Minnesota, Melo's 33 third quarter points tied George Gervin's mark for points in a single quarter.
In Melo's record quarter, he shot 12-15 from the field and 4-5 from behind the arc.
In one stretch Anthony scored 26 straight points for the Nuggets.
As a team, Denver scored 40 points in the third, of course Melo contributed 33.
Anthony outscored the entire Minnesota team in 33-22 in the quarter!
