It appears Rick Reilly and Dan Patrick have switched positions. Patrick is in full swing with Sports Illustrated and I believe Reilly is to have his own show on ESPN coming this Spring.

Yep, they basically swapped roles, and I think even Reilly is going to do a radio show. If you ask me, this is actually one of the smartest things ESPN has done in maybe 10 years. First of all, Reilly writes a great column, a helluva lot better than Patrick can or will ever do. And he's genuinely funny on the radio.
Patrick is now lost on the radio. He can't get a lot of the old guests he used to get because no ESPN folks can go on his show, and frankly he's really lost without Olbermann. Patrick's the type of guy who needs a sidekick. And again, him writing for SI? Ouch, not a good idea. Dan is simply not a writer
